L and her Health

Hello all!

L has a new Doctor as of yesterday... She's a Rheumatolgy doc in Boston. L has had a lot of problems like sleep disorder that has put her on medicine and a CPAP machine at night( it's a machine that forces air down your throat and nose all night to keep you breathing), OCD and now as of last August.. something that made her very sick and the Docs at that time thought it was the "West Nile" virus... Still don't know if it was, but two of the symptoms never went away. Pain in all her joints and pain when anything touches her skin..

So, we went to the new Doc her primary doc sent us to yesterday and she tells us that L could have Lupus or Fibromyalgia? She did a lot of blood and urine tests on her, some are coming back.. one came back as "RARE" in a urine test... I can't imagine what it is! I've emailed the doc on that and three more that came back too high! Now, I'm worried. The new doc thinks that all her problems over the years like, the sleep disorder are symptoms of a bigger problem, not the problems themselves. This is just way too much to handle now!

All these years trying to fix all that is wrong with her and find out what it all is, has brought us to this? None of it was the main problem but symptoms?

Why does it always take doctors months and years to figure things like this out? Why can't we ever go to the doctor once, for a problem instead of months and years to get answers?

I just don't understand how even good doctors can make you wait so long for a diagnoses for some of the simplest things never mind 8-10 different doctors over the years to put the puzzle together!

I'm very frustrated and up-set right now! I haven't told L about any of her tests results yet. I want one doctor to put it all together and be sure before L is made to feel worried too!

ARG!

Hope everyone is well,

First Day of New Blog!

Okay, I'm going to try this blogging thing again, with high hopes that, the crazy Sousa family, not unlike the Manson Family( only uglier), will leave me alone this time...

I have no idea how these people have so much time on their hands to bother me or why I'm so interesting to them. You see, my oldest Daughter divorced one of them for horrible abuse of her and her children from the middle boy..adult? he's 33 years old... anyway. I guess the whole family just has to aggravate everyone that doesn't agree with them on this subject. Personally, I knew she should have never married into this family of nut cases, pedophiles and rapists. Yes, I can make that statement since the people I speak of have all been convicted and are on the sex offender registry... The oldest boy is a child abuser of the worst kind. The rest of the family is as well, but this piece o' shit takes the cake and, he's got a boy of his own. He's totally messed up now. Mommy is a drug addict ( heroin and, anything else she can get her Hepatitis C hands on).

Okay, enough of them. There is so much more to life than a bunch of toothless dumb hicks that have nothing better to do than, to bother people.

Hello to anyone that is interested! I'm starting this new blog today as, I haven't had one in years for the problems mentioned above. I've decided I want one again.

I do have a My Space account but, I really don't like the blog on there at all. This is a much better place. I lost all my good friends the last go round with a blog, having to shut it down. I do hope I find more good friends on this blog...

Okay, a little about myself then...

I have 5 Cats, 1 Dog, 4 Rats and a Squirrel, yes, I said squirrel. We found him last August in a cats mouth in another state. He was so tiny, he was like a fetus! We had to feed him mushy baby food for the longest time and now, he's a big boy and eats nuts, acorns, chestnuts, most fruits and vegetables.

We just love him, his name is Dexter. He's named after Dexter Morgan on the showtime TV series about a serial killer, that works for the police department. It's a very good show. Dexter the squirrel, is a lot of fun to play with, he loves us. I know this because, he can't seem to be without us around. He's treated like a king of course. The cats are afraid of him now because his claws scratch. He doesn't mean it but, he gets us to, just by running up on us. We all have scratch marks and cuts all over us from him. No easy answer to that though, I can't leave him in his 4 floor condo cage. he's only in there to sleep. He'll put himself to bed around 8:30pm at night. He knows when he's tired. He has one of those soft cat beds on his top floor we like to call, "The Penthouse." I'll try and get a picture of him up here, I know we have a bunch and I have a few on my phone too.

Just added: ( Picture of Dexter and My Youngest Daughter is to the right)

Dexter likes to ride on our dogs back. He'll lay down like he's just relaxing while the dog ( a 13 years old Pit-bull) takes a walk. They're both so cute! Only one of our cat's... Bindi, will play with him. The others just watch him mostly. I think to make sure, he's not coming their way lol!

Well, I seem to have written a lot on my first day! I'm surprised actually!

The Red Sox are playing today at 1pm so, I need to get things done before the game!!!

Go Sox!!!

Bye for Now!
